Graphic design, music, short stories. Look, listen, explore.

about

I love creating art and collaborating with others in order to do so. Brainstorming without boundaries, composing with care, and editing with energy—that’s what I hope a fancy-shmancy arts column would say about my work!

Jeremy Lessnau

I majored in Literature at the University of California Santa Cruz. A large chunk of my early career centered around live performance in both theater and music, playing at venues around the west coast. Some groups I've performed with include: Rule 5, Lusitania Band of the North Bay, Soup Sandwich, and Church Marching Band (no religious affiliation, we just practiced on Sundays).

In college, while I focused more on writing, I had the fortune to write for sketch comedy groups and creatively direct the satire publication Fish Rap Live. My professional experience includes online publications such as The Bold Italic, Product Watch, and Lake House Records, along with day jobs at the City of Santa Rosa, the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District, and Art & Soul School of Music.

Additionally, I enjoy performing improv comedy, recording original music, and watching Detroit sports. Feel free to contact me regarding writing, design, music, comedy, and/or human pyramid collaboration.
